Beaujour, Alix

Alix Beaujour, born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, relocated to Dallas, Texas in 1978, where he currently resides. With private study in Haiti and a brief stint in Paris, France, Beaujour has honed his mastery of colors and imagery. A versatile artist, he employs various mediums to depict daily life and folklore of African, West Indian, and American cultures. His recent focus on pastels allows for greater expressive depth, particularly in capturing the diverse roles of women. Known for bold colors and intricate detail, Beaujour’s art brings subjects to life with dimension and emotion.
