Humphrey, Kennith

Kennith, hailing Vicksburg, Mississippi as his hometown, also resided in cities like New York, St. Louis, Denver, Mobile, and Baton Rouge. His career spanned roles such as carpenter, Sears shingler, electronic technician, tower climber, and landscaper. Despite diverse experiences, his artistic journey commenced in Vicksburg. Inspired by family creativity, notably his uncle’s painting, Kennith overcame educational challenges to pursue his passion. Self-taught, he received mentorship from his late half-brother, William Tolliver, a renowned artist. Kennith Humphrey, the talented Vicksburg artist, passed away on March 2, 2023.
