Muhammad, Marcella Hayes

Marcella Hayes Muhammad, an internationally acclaimed fine artist, author, and designer, imbues her narrative art with profound meaning. Specializing in oil on canvas, she is renowned for her meticulous detail and vivid palettes. Transitioning from a successful teaching career, Marcella established Maruva Studio, later forming Maruva DQ, Inc. with her sister, dedicating herself to her art full-time. Her artwork, termed “Plasticism,” has garnered awards and graced galleries, festivals, and film sets worldwide. Holding a BFA with honors and dual teaching credentials from California State University, San Bernardino, she further honed her craft at California College of Art and Design, Oakland, and the University of California, Riverside.
