Walker, Sylvia

Sylvia Walker, a native of southern California, possesses a natural talent for painting multicultural imagery, particularly of children. Proficient in watercolor, pencil, ink, and acrylic mediums on canvas and wood, she earned a BFA Degree from the California Institute of the Arts. Initially delving into fashion illustration, Sylvia has since garnered extensive experience illustrating children’s books for various publishers and serving freelance clients such as the National Adoption Center and Hallmark Cards. Residing in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband, Sylvia is a proud mother of two and grandmother of five.
