Williams, Thomas
Thomas Williams discovered his passion for art at age 12 through comic books, which sparked his interest in visual storytelling. He honed his skills in commercial art during high school, exploring painting and airbrushing. Opting out of the Art Institute of Chicago, he pursued formal training at the American Academy of Art, focusing on human figure rendering and later expanding into landscapes. Williams furthered his education at Columbia College, delving into illustration and design. Combining entrepreneurial spirit with artistic pursuits, he ventured into advertising while nurturing his artistry in watercolor, colored pencils, acrylics, and oils. Additionally, he contributed to “Shoplife,” a comic for Shoptalk magazine. Inspired by fellow artist Kevin WAK Williams, Thomas continues to evolve creatively.
